Randy Cain

Randy Cain (1949-2023) was an American singer-songwriter best known as a founding member of the influential soul and R&B group, The Delphonics. Formed in Philadelphia in 1968, The Delphonics became prominent figures in the Philadelphia soul genre, characterized by lush orchestration and harmonized vocals. Cain's smooth falsetto and songwriting contributions were crucial to the group's signature sound. The Delphonics achieved significant success in the early 1970s with hits like "La-La (Means I Love You)", "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)", and "Ready or Not Here I Come (Can't Hide from Love)".
